A Kyber Crystal, also known as a kyber, lightsaber crystal, or the living crystal, is a rare, Force-attuned crystal that naturally forms on various planets across the galaxy. Jedi and Sith use these crystals to construct their lightsabers. As part of their training, Jedi younglings travel to the Crystal Cave on the ice planet Ilum to mine their own kyber crystal before building their lightsaber.

Yes! Base lit sabers are ideal for dueling. Neopixel/Proffie are also duel-ready but recommended for soft to medium dueling due to internal LEDs.
